I enjoy this image because I find it graceful and simple at once. The color seems calming and cool, while the one focal point is easy to find because of the shallow depth of field. As I learn about color in my art class, I am reminded of how much of the work I see has no color harmony and is lacking in balance. A lot of that work is my own. Balance is an important element to remember in a composition, look at visual weight, use of color and line to find it.
This calming photo makes me feel reflective. Design with grace and balance in mind and live with grace and balance in mind.
